Dates announced for Dubai property show
DSL Exhibitions has announced that its third Resale and Rental Property Show for Dubai property is to be held at the city's Crowne Plaza on September 8th and 9th.
The exhibition comes at a time when individuals are expected to begin to take a stronger hold on the property market in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Dubai Life website reports.
This development is due to the fact that previous restrictions on the role that individual investors could play in the property market in cities such as Dubai have been lifted.
As a result of this move, there are now many residential developments taking place that are either in use or will be complete within the next 24 months.
Shuckri Bundakji, managing director of DSL Exhibitions, said that the recent changes will make the UAE and Dubai property industry "more regulated and more transparent".
"Even now, we see a softening of the market with developers offering increasingly better terms to buyers, but the prices are still more or less at their previous levels," Mr Bundakji said.
"As more supply enters the market, prices are expected to settle at a more stable level, both for sale as well as for rental."
